About Anika from "Anika Takes The World"

Hi everyone!! My name is Anika Sahityani and I am a current Junior at Syracuse University dual majoring in Information Management and Technology at The School for Information Studies and Finance at The Whitman School of Management. I have had a very multicultural upbringing from being born in Westchester, New York, raised in Dubai, UAE for most of my teenage years, and being of Sindhi (Indian) origin. On top of that, I have been traveling internationally since I was 11 months old. Fun fact: The UAE was the first country that I traveled to and I was able to celebrate my 1st birthday over there.

I started @Anikatakestheworld formerly as an Instagram account for all my Traveling content. I decided to use the same name for my blog for IDS 360: Innovate Ireland to blog about the usefulness of the immersion trip. This blog site will cover all my travel journeys, provide tips and advice for traveling both domestically and internationally, as well as provide opportunities for traveling while enrolled in college.
